Considerations for creating a customized rug: Outdoor
If you love the look of natural fiber rugs but need a durable material that can withstand outdoor conditions, Sisal Rugs’ collection of outdoor rugs is the perfect fit. Made of polypropylene, these rugs won’t wear and tear due to moisture or sunlight, and they’re still as natural-looking and stylish as natural fiber rugs.
To start designing your own custom outdoor rug, first decide which type of outdoor rug you want. Sisal Rugs offers four different kinds, and you can learn what makes each unique below.
This is the most popular of all the outdoor collections. The Four Seasons collection features four distinct styles: Belize, Domingo, Laguna and Montego. Each style is available in bronze, cobblestone, dune and pewter, so you can order the color that best fits your design. Four Seasons outdoor rugs have a pile height of 3/16 to ¼ in.
As sisal look-alikes, Al Fresco rugs are popular among those who want the look and feel of sisal but the moisture protection and durability of a polypropylene rug. These rugs are available in six neutral colors and three styles (Costa Rica, Cypress and Logan). They have a short pile height at 3/16 in.
The All-Weather collection offers 11 beautiful dark tones. Canvas, Cypress, Logan and Fuji styles are available. With the longest pile height at ¼ in., these are the softest of all the outdoor rugs.
While most of the other outdoor selections feature simple designs, the Patterned collection offers more complexity to give your outdoor space a boost. The Malta and Montego styles showcase a stunning Greek Key pattern and are available in rich, darker tones. In contrast, the diamond-patterned Tangier style and Moroccan tile-patterned Tribal style are available in lighter, neutral colors. Most of the patterned outdoor rugs have a short pile height of 3/16 in.
