We needed a stain resistant sisal rug to replace one that we had damaged. I had decided to make it with specific dimensions to fit in our kitchen cooking area. We had a rug that had black, white and different shades of grey in it in front of our refrigerator not far from where we were going to place the new rug. We love everything about the new sisal rug from the excellent shipping packaging to the colors of the rug we ordered. The attached pad is also great. Does the capri stain resistant sisal rug come with the pad attached or do I have to add that when I order online?

Capri does not come with a pad attached. You can add the Attached Rug Pad when placing the order.

Two questions: 1. Since this sisal is stain resistant, do I need to add "Stain Guard"? 2. How wide is the serge border? If less than 1/2" wide, is it possible to request 1/2" wide serge border?

1. Stain Guard is not necessary. 2. Serged Edge shows 5/8" on face of the rug. This cannot be adjusted.

There’s no difference between a rug and a runner—both refer to the same product. For example, a 24" x 5' runner is the same as a 2' x 5' rug. Feel free to order using whichever term or size format you prefer—either way, you'll receive the same custom-made piece.

Does the rug measurement include the border trim?

Yes, the listed dimensions include the border trim. The border is sewn over the edge of the rug, so it’s part of the overall measured width.

Hi. I’m looking to get a sisal rug as a door mat. 2’ x 3’ I want to make sure the lines of sisal run from side to side on the 3’ length. Just wondering when I place order how to I order the measurements. Width vs length? Thanks Ronald

Order as 3' WIDE x 2' LONG to have the lines run the 3' side. On bottom right hand side of photo it shows which way the length and width run.
